Hi! My name is Baby and I really, really, REALLY want to introduce myself to you!

To be honest, I probably didn’t have the best life before coming to MABB. I was picked up as a stray and landed at the shelter. I don’t really remember my life before the shelter but my foster mom says it’s pretty obvious I was used for breeding. And that I’d never lived in a house before. When I came to my foster home, I also got a lot of something called “pets” from my foster mom. It took a little while for me to get used to so much attention from someone but now? Now I love it! My foster mom also taught me something called “snuggling.” I get to lay right next to her and she puts a blanket over me to keep me warm. I’ve never had anyone do that for me before! Another thing I get to do in my foster home is play with “toys.” Do you know about toys? They are SO much fun! I have lots of toys in my foster home and I love to chew and play with them.

Another thing I really love in my foster home is my crate. I’ve never really had a safe, warm, soft, place to sleep and hang out. But my foster mom gave me a crate with a bed in it and I love it! I’m very happy in my crate and very good about keeping it nice and clean. My foster mom says that makes me “a good girl.” No one has ever called me a good girl before, it feels SO good! I also go on walks in my foster home and my foster mom says I’m very easy to walk because I’m so little. Sometimes I get a little nervous in new places (because I haven’t really been to many new places before), so my foster mom takes me on shorter walks. But that’s ok with me because I’m not really a high energy dog. Mostly I just love hanging out in the house. I never got to do that before I came to MABB!

My foster mom says that, despite the hardships I’ve lived through, I have a real zest for life! She says I’m “very enthusiastic!” and am “an example of the resiliency of dogs.” I don’t really know what all that means but I do know that I’m living my best life right now! The only thing that could make it even better is if I had a REAL home with a REAL mom or dad. Do you think you are my REAL mom or dad? Can I make your home my REAL home? Please?!

If you want to adopt me, the first step in the process is the adoption application found on MABB’s website: www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Also, I’m already spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated! I’m ready to go! And my adoption fee has been waived and is sponsored by a very generous donor.
