Felix was found by a good samaritan and brought to a local shelter. He was so incredibly terrified in the shelter that it was very difficult to leash him up to get him out of his kennel and outside for a walk. Luckily we have a foster with a soft spot for the misunderstood little dogs and Felix is now available for adoption thru our rescue. He has settled in well with his foster and is now ready to find his very own forever home! He’s just under 25 lbs and our guess is that he’s a Min Pin/mix. He does well with the other dogs and cats in his foster home, is housebroken and loves his crate. And despite some initial fears with new people, he warms up quickly and has proven to be quite the snuggly little guy!
Felix would do best with an adopter who has experience with and/or understands little dogs who can at times be a bit temperamental. As for his anxieties with being leashed up and walked, we have found that he does MUCH better on a harness. Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Felix is approx. 4 years old, is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
