You may have noticed some cute puppies on our website. We all know that puppies tend to find homes quite easily, while the adult dogs often get overlooked. When we took Diamond and her ELEVEN puppies into our rescue, Diamond was still nursing them, trying her best to care for her not so little family of eleven. Diamond was a great momma to those puppies and now that they are old enough to get adopted, they are easily finding homes. So now, it’s Mamma Diamond’s turn! And we promised Diamond we’d find her the forever home that she finally deserves.

We have no idea what she’s mixed with. She’s definitely on the smaller side and is a very soft-natured, gentle dog, approx. 2 years old. She’s a sensitive gal and can be timid in new situations. While initially scared of the other dogs and even the cat in her foster home, she does well with them in that she ignores them. Diamond has lived with kids and is the kind of dog who absolutely adores her family. She bonds very much with her people and can be a little unsure of new people, so she prefers to stick close to her family.

Don’t get us wrong, Diamond REALLY perks up when it’s time for a walk. Whoever adopts Diamond must like going for walks, because it might be one of her favorite things in the world! And Diamond walks beautifully on leash, literally wagging her tail happily the entire time. Check her out! https://youtu.be/VcdO_EVuWzw┬áIt’s so adorable to see how happy she is on her walks! She is good at ignoring other dogs on walks and is just happy to trot by your side. Being by your side is all that Diamond wants, as she is a very sweet, good-natured, LOYAL dog.

She’s very, very well behaved in the house and doesn’t get into anything she isn’t supposed to. In fact, all she really wants to do is lounge right by your feet. Diamond is housebroken and rides well in the car too. Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website, www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Mamma Diamond is spayed (no more puppies for her!), microchipped and vaccinated.
