Sage is an approx. 1 year old bunny, disguised as a dog. Sage can be timid in new situations but warms up quickly and is doing very well in her foster home. In fact, she acts like a pretty typical, happy puppy in her foster home and loves to zoom around the place, playing with her toys, etc. If there’s one word to describe Sage, we’d probably say – HILARIOUS! She’s constantly making her foster mom laugh and is a very silly, happy, playful pup. She loves playing inside, but is still a little bit unsure outside. She’s enjoying the fenced yard in her foster home more and more each day. And she’s also getting braver on walks!
And she is VERY food motivated. She gets so excited to practice her commands because she knows she will get a treat – and she loves it! She also loves her crate and will go in there on her own to take a nap or if she’s feeling like she needs a break. Sage has lived with cats in the past too. And did we mention adorable? She’s quite small as well. Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Sage is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is $150.
