Sage is an approx. 1 year old bunny, disguised as a dog. Whoever adopts Sage will be very lucky, as she is such a great dog. She can be timid in new situations but warms up quickly and is doing very well in her foster home. In fact, she acts like a pretty typical, happy dog in her foster home and loves to zoom around the place, playing with her toys, etc. If there’s one word to describe Sage, we’d probably say – HILARIOUS! She’s constantly making her foster mom laugh and is a vsery silly, happy, playful pup. And she’s enjoying the fenced yard in her foster home more and more each day. She’s also getting braver on walks. In fact, she’s walking quite well and is content to ignore other dogs on walks, even the bad ones who bark at her. Sage isn’t the kind of dog who requires lots of long walks or jogs but is more content to just go for short jaunts with you and then hang around the house.
And she is VERY food motivated. She gets so excited to practice her commands because she knows she will get a treat – and she loves it! She also loves her crate and will go in there on her own to take a nap or if she’s feeling like she needs a break. And she loves car rides. Sage has lived with cats in the past too. And did we mention adorable? Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Sage is housebroken, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is $150.
