SPECIAL COVID NOTICE: We realize that many of you are home from work right now and adopting a dog seems like a great idea. Which, it may be! Or may not. Please think about what your life will be like once things go back to “normal.” Will you have enough time each day to dedicate to a dog, based on the dog’s individual needs? If you are looking for a dog to socialize with kids, other dogs, etc., please do not submit an adoption application, as we do not recommend that for any dog. Nor do we recommend dog parks or dog daycare. Visit the resources section of our website for more info on those topics.
Please note that none of our foster homes have children, so we have no idea how any of our dogs would do living in a home with kids and/or if they would enjoy it.
As for Cash:
We are so in love with sweet, sweet, SWEET Cash and know that whoever meets him will fall in love too! Cash is about three years old and has settled into his foster home quickly; proving to be a wonderful houseguest. He is housebroken and crate trained. Inside the house, Cash loves to lounge around and play with his toys. And he is being fostered with cats!
He would do best with a fenced yard, as it gives him the chance to run around and explore. Cash has completed basic obedience training and has great recall in the yard! Anytime his foster mom calls him, no matter where he is, he immediately comes running right back to her.
Cash likes going for walks but needs walks in a quiet area as he can be leash reactive to other dogs. He therefore needs an able-bodied handler who will be able to walk him, although he is not very big or strong, compared to many dogs in our rescue.
Please note that the first step in our process is the adoption application found on our website www.midatlanticbullybuddies.org. Cash is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Cash’s adoption fee has been waived and is sponsored by a generous donor.
