Lucky is approximately 5 years old and came to MABB after living in a small, rural shelter for an entire year. Though she is still decompressing and settling into her foster home, Lucky is learning to relax every day. Since being in foster, we have found Lucky to be fully crate trained and housebroken. She walks wonderfully on a harness and loves going for her evening walk or taking a hike on the weekends with her foster parents. Though Lucky may technically be considered “middle-aged” she is definitely an athletic dog who would love a running/jogging buddy, or even an adopter interested in tricks training or agility. Lucky also loves to play fetch! Her foster parents report that the best thing about Lucky is her snuggle technique. Her foster dad calls her “the little snuggle bug warmer” because she likes to snuggle herself right up against you and keep you warm and toasty as you drift off to sleep. That’s one of the best things about middle-aged dogs: always ready for a nice long hike, followed by a good Netflix and snuggle on the couch – and Lucky is no exception!

Please note, the first step in our adoption process is to complete an application on our website: Lucky is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
